Gate drivers are integrated circuits designed to serve as the interface between control signals and power switches (IGBTs, MOSFETs, SiC MOSFETs, and GaN HEMTs)

Gate drivers produce a high-current drive output for the gate of a high-power transistor (e.g., a power MOSFET or IGBT) from a low-power input from a controller IC.
