Inductors with adjustable inductance
These are inductors with varying inductance. The most common type of variable inductor is one with a moveable ferrite magnetic core, which can be slid or screwed in or out of the coil. Moving the core on an adjustable inductor farther into the coil increases the permeability, raising the magnetic field and the inductance.
