Integrated circuits designed to compare two signals
An op-amp comparator compares two signals and outputs a digital signal, showing which signal has a larger magnitude. Comparators have one binary digital output and two analog input terminals. If the non-inverting input exceeds the inverting input, the output on comparator ICs goes high. If the inverting input is greater, it goes low. Comparator electronics are among the many integrated circuits you can find with Octopart.
