The KBMG® electronic drive is an ultracompact, full-wave regenerative drive capable of operating DC PM or Shunt motors in a bidirectional mode. Its 4-quadrant operation provides forward and reverse torque in both speed directions which allows the control to maintain constant speed with overhauling loads, provides rapid reversing and controlled braking. The KBMG-212D is a compact drive that provides a 2% regulation and a 50:1 speed range. It offers enhanced durability and performance with a high-speed current limit circuit and MOV transient protection. The sturdy aluminum heatsink allows for increased heat transfer, a higher control rating and SCR’s that run cooler.
