They enable unidirectional communication from the sensor to the controller.IO-Link signal transmission: Our inductive couplers for IO-Link signal transmission enable bidirectional communication between the IO-Link master and IO-Link device. Contactless signal transmission to the IO-Link standard requires no parameterization, which ensures immediate communication. With a fully-fledged IO-Link interface, events, parameter and process data can be exchanged directly, regardless of the IO-Link revision status. With the help of IO-Link transmission, additional hardware (IO-Link hub) can be used to collect sensor data and control actuators.Power supply: Our inductive couplers for power supply transmit energy without contact, making mechanical plug contacts superfluous.
