Texas Instruments PCM5310

the pcm5310 is a four-channel/four-channel audio codec with a 2-vrms driver headphone amplifier analog multiplexer (mux) and six audio interface ports for digital tv applications. the pcm5310 accepts left-justified right-justified and i2s audio data formats with 16 or 24 bits. the pcm5310 also incorporates many functions through the i2c interface such as an analog bypass mode analog volume control analog level control analog multiplexer gpio zero flag short protection de-emphasis filter high-pass filter and digital attenuator. the six audio interface ports each have a built-in digital mux and bypass functions to reduce the need for additional dsp ports or other devices.
