the pcm4104 is a high-performance four-channel digital-to-analog (d/a) converter designed for use in professional audio applications. the pcm4104 supports 16- to 24-bit linear pcm input data with sampling frequencies up to 216khz. the pcm4104 features lower power than most comparable stereo audio d/a converters making it ideal for use in high channel count applications by lowering the overall power budget required for d/a conversion sub-system. the pcm4104 features delta-sigma architecture employing a high-performance multi-level modulator combined with a switched capacitor output filter. this architecture yields lower out-of-band noise and a high tolerance to system clock phase jitter. differential voltage outputs are provided for each channel and are well-suited to high-performance audio applications. view all in datasheet
