The Category 6 and IP68 rated, metal R-jacks used in their construction are far tougher and more crush resistant than a standard RJ45 connector and they feature moisture, oil, chemical and ultra-violet resistant jackets. Also built with stranded 24AWG conductors, they are fit for both PoE and high flex, continuous motion applications. A flex rating of 1 million and 10 million cycles at 10x and 20x the cable OD ensures that the cables will not wear out even during the toughest usage. Off the shelf connector combinations include ruggedized R-jacks plug to plug, jack to jack, plug to jack, plug to standard RJ45 and jack to standard RJ45. All R-jack male/plug options are IP68 waterproof when mated or capped properly and all R-jack female/jack options are transversely sealed so they are waterproof with or without a mated connector or cap. T6A00010-3M from L-com is an R-jack male to R-jack male assembly built with Category 6a rated outdoor industrial Ethernet cable and is 1.0 meter in length. Sealed and gasketed dust caps are included. Its high-flex, industrial, outdoor FR-TPE jacket is UL AWM style 2463, CM and CMX rated. It has resistances to moisture, UV (sunlight), oils and weld spatter and well as being high flex rated. It is PoE 802.3 compliant and has a dynamic temperature range of -40° to +80°C. Double shielded SF/UTP construction with overall foil and braid shields protects your application from data destroying EMI and RFI.
