The EL1018 is an 8-channel digital input EtherCAT terminal designed for industrial automation applications. It acquires binary 24 V DC control signals from the process level and transmits them in electrically isolated form to higher-level automation systems via the EtherCAT fieldbus protocol. Each of the eight input channels features individual LED status indicators and complies with EN 61131-2 type 1/3 specifications. The terminal incorporates a fast 10 µs input filter, enabling low-delay signal processing suitable for high-speed sensing applications including inductive and capacitive sensors. The compact design supports 1-wire connection technology and requires no address or configuration settings for deployment. Electrical isolation of 500 V between E-bus and field potential ensures safe operation in demanding industrial environments.
